Give Yourself the Gift of Happiness

In this season of giving the pressure to give the perfect gift can cause unbearable stress. However, one of the best gifts you can give your loved ones is the gift of being happy.


A life of happiness can be cultivated by practicing a few practical exercises. I have outlined a list below to help you begin cultivating a life of happiness for yourself. Know Your Purpose -


By understanding your purpose you can build a life you desire and find joy and fulfillment by understanding how the work you are doing relates to your purpose.


Take 100% Ownership of your life - Accept that you are in control of your thoughts and your emotions and you can begin to change where you are mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and financial.


Become Self-Aware -


Understand yourself and how you react to various situations or emotional triggers.


Have a positive mindset -


See problems as potential learning processes rather than just another hill to climb


Invest in Relationships -


Build and maintain good friendships and family relationships


Maintain perspective -


Keep mole hills, mole hills


Nurture positive self perception -


Emphasize the things we do well and be kind to ourselves


Take time to recharge -


By taking regular breaks, routinely leaving work on time and taking vacations we can maintain emotional wellness.


Create a positive environment -


Use music as powerful tool to create a positive environment for your emotional state.


Practice Smiling -


When you're upset you can force a smile, soften your voice, and literally change your emotional state.


Develop an attitude of gratitude -


Of all the attitudes a person can acquire, the attitude of gratitude is the most important and by far the most life changing.


Make Time for Exercise -


Exercise is also one of the most effective ways to improve your mental health
